A note from your teacher

Jennifer Xue of StyleCareer.com
Let me guess where you are right now.
You love fashion and beauty genuinely, not just as a career strategy. You follow the campaigns. You notice the copy. You read the email subject lines and think, I could write something better than that. But you're not sure how to turn that instinct into a career, a portfolio, or a paycheck. Maybe you've been writing in another context, content, PR, marketing, and you're ready to go deeper into copy specifically. Maybe you're starting from scratch and wondering if there's a real path in for someone without an agency pedigree.
There is. I built this school because the fashion and beauty industry desperately needs writers who understand both craft and context and most copywriting education gives you one without the other. General courses won't teach you how to write a campaign tagline for a fragrance launch or why the brand voice of a DTC skincare brand sounds nothing like the brand voice of a department store beauty counter. Industry knowledge without writing training just gives you opinions. You need both, working together.
Here's what I want you to understand about what we do in this school: every concept comes with an exercise. You don't just read about writing sensory product copy, you write it. You don't just learn what a brand voice guide is, you build one. You don't just hear that AI tools can accelerate your workflow, you practice the prompt techniques that keep your output actually on-brand. By the end of this curriculum, you'll have done the reps. The portfolio pieces you produce here are real work, and they're designed to show range: luxury, mass-market, DTC, product, campaign, email, social.
I also want to talk directly about AI, because you've probably seen the panic. The truth is more nuanced and, frankly, more useful to your career: AI is a drafting and editing tool, not a creative director. It doesn't know your client's brand. It doesn't know what emotional register a luxury fragrance campaign requires vs. a value-drugstore launch. It doesn't know how to read a creative brief and ask the right questions before writing a word. You will. That's the difference.
The industry has real entry points, junior in-house roles, agency assistant positions, freelance platforms, and this school walks you directly to them. You'll know how to present your portfolio, how to survive a writing test, how to price your work without underselling yourself, and how to network in a field where who you know genuinely matters. This isn't a course that ends with "good luck out there." It ends with a plan.
If you're ready to stop admiring fashion copy from the outside and start writing it, come in.
